Welcome to the Evans School of Public Affairs! You are part of an outstanding and diverse group of more than 165 incoming MPA and Ph.D. students. We are delighted that you will be joining us this fall.

We created a message board for incoming students, offering you connect with each other before orientation and to ask questions of Evans School staff and current students.
The orientation schedule is set for September 21-29. The first day of autumn quarter 2009 is September 30.
If you move and/or change your address before you start classes at the Evans School, please send your new contact information to us at evansuw@u.washington.edu or call 206.543.4900.
If you have any questions in the coming months about registration, moving to Seattle, or anything else as you prepare for the MPA program, please do not hesitate to contact any of us in the Evans School Student Services office. We will be happy to provide you with any assistance to make your entrance into graduate school at the UW as smooth as possible!
