About Cascade

Cascade Executive Programs at the University of Washington Evans School of Public Affairs has been nationally recognized as a leader in professional development at the executive level for more than 25 years. We offer a broad range of courses and customized programs for senior and midlevel managers that reflect the growing challenge of managing complex organizations and relationships in an era of scarce resources and competing priorities.

It is no longer enough to supplement an early university education with on-the-job experience. That is why many leaders of government and nonprofit agencies have embraced professional development for their managers and employees.

By tapping into the breadth of knowledge and experience of Evans School faculty members and visiting practitioners, our programs are designed to help on-the-job managers and leaders develop their skills, make their programs more effective, and increase customer and employee satisfaction.

With Cascade Executive Programs being housed at the Evans School, participants can also benefit from the school’s Executive Master of Public Administration (MPA) program and a database of quality teaching cases through The Electronic Hallway.
